48 bed secure residential treatment facility - Referral process (3):
Secure Treatment (Child & Family Services Act - CFSA) - Secure Treatment to co-ed youth with two or more mental health diagnosis who are at risk to themselves or others.
Secure Detention and Custody (Youth Criminal Justice Act - YCJA) - Assessment and treatment for co-ed youth under the Youth Criminal Justice Act with two or more mental health issues, as well as direct intake for Secure Youth Justice females.
Ontario Review Board (Criminal Code of Canada) - Assessment and treatment to co-ed youth within the youth justice system who have been found Not Fit or Not Criminally Responsible
POPULATION: Co-ed youth between the ages of 12-18 years old with two or more mental health diagnosis. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervised daily routines, recreational activities, and educational initiatives
Participated and completed facility safety precautionary procedures/protocols – unit searches, property searches, cutlery counts, intake searches, bedroom night checks
Completed required assessments and documentation – In-Take Assessments, DBT Assessments, Call Logs, Communication Logs, Movement Logs, Incident Reports
